Although the price was good for Zurich, the front desk staff's main goal was to help me to spend more than I wanted to spend. There was inaccurate information about transportation from the airport, costing me money for a van and a taxi, no information about what was in the area in the way of restaurants. Hotel restaurant was expensive and very basic. Loud patrons in the bar were a real problem. Only one restaurant was open on a Sunday evening. Lobby was not very attractive. Too cheap to deliver a newspaper -just printouts of excerpts from a newspaper were delivered at room door. Front desk staff ignored my request for queen or king bed, put me in an insecure room with kind of patio outside and an unlocked window. Easy access to tram both to airport (10 minutes) and city (20 minutes). Quiet, large, comfortable, and clean rooms. Appears to be little of touristic interest in the immediate area. Staff was very accommodating. ...read more
